Real Stories with mean people

I think some people can relate to some of the stories but they give a false sense that in the end everything will be okay and the over dramatization and cheesy acting is a turn off. There is a lot of oversexualization and stereotypes. For example, girls are mean, superficial, stuck up, money hungry, etc. However, some of the girls are really not acting. I saw one of them over the weekend and when I talked to her and she was sweet but an attention grabber like she was Angelina Jolie or someone. When we walked away she talking crap and bragging to her friends how popular Dhar Mann has made her and how everyone recognizes her and loves her. It was really disappointing. It really made the videos less inspiring because she does not embody the values that Dhar Mann sells. On a side note, the constant product placement of merchandise and cult like reaction the actors have to being party of this is a little strange. Another thing that I think is strange is that his profile https://www.dharmann.com/dhar-mann-entrepreneur-and-film-maker/ mentions how successful he was from a young age in a boastful not humble way that he likes to tell in his stories. It also fails to mention in his profile that he owns a marijuana business, has the title “ganjapreneur” or that he scammed people and was convicted of felony fraud.

Sigh Dhar Mann

So Dhar Mann, a man with a company who makes life lessons with videos that “change lives”. His videos messages are good as the videos focus on a specific lesson, but the videos themself are not great. The actors are fine and some actually pretty good actors but their roles are so over exaggerated and it’s very clear to tell what they are going to do. The stories play always the same with just a different plot and lesson but many videos use very similar plot and lessons are reused many times. In the stories there’s one obviously good and bad character with the good always getting back at the bad character for his/her bad actions, but many times the bad characters really don’t get what they deserve and good characters makes very many dumb decisions especially parents, example a mother who knew his son was faking being sick let him stay home for multiple days just to then lie that he would meet Dhar Mann in school instead of just punishing him on first realizing, and another video even stating to be “based on a true story” a dad who had a drinking problem had passed out in his car, he then woke up in a hospital where doctors told him he had been in coma for 10 years, later his wife came and told him that their daughter died in a car accident, he then promised he would never drink again and so they told the truth that he was never in a coma for 10 years and their daughter never died, they did all of this just to get him to stop drinking. The dumb decisions and cruel lessons almost makes the good character worse than the bad characters and it kinda ruins the entire lesson to begin with. Also these lessons are mostly for young kids as teens and adults are already aware of the messages, but the videos has a lot of non suited subjects for the younger audiences like drinking, violence, suicide, abusive parents and leaders, kidnapping and more that kids shouldn’t see even if it’s played out bad. One of the worst things he is doing tho is paying attention to the haters, Tho he has made videos on the haters to teach a lesson, the lesson literally is to not focus on those who hate you and focus on those who love you, so making videos focused on the haters and referencing them in videos as the bad characters is just very ironic. Dhar Mann also promotes his merch a lot which to be honest his merch is not the best (I hated the line “so, you see…” and then they made a literal shirt on just that line…), Alright I’ve covered a bit to much now. So Dhar Mann makes videos based on good lessons but the stories are played out in ways that would never happen along with very dumb characters who make dumb decisions, subjects that’s not suitable for kids, alot of consumerism and some wrong messages this is not something I think kids should actually watch. It’s very clear Dhar Mann is just trying to get money and if he wants to actually change lives is unclear but all I know is if you want your kids to learn lessons show them actual kids shows

I love Dhar Mann! Edit: Woah Dhar Mann is racist, narcissistic, and cringey

This is amazing life lessons! Age 12 and up Edit: 16+ Violence, a guy gets injured. Blood on face, mentions of domestic abuse. A woman and her child get abused in a video . Very graphic. Sex/Dating: Mentions of infidelity. A man seen in bed with a woman. Mentions of dating though, a guy almost kisses a girl. Mentions of LGBTQ+ relationships. Drinking/Drugs/Smoking: A Black man is accused of doing drugs due to race. Mentions of selling drugs. A girl is accused of doing drugs due to her looks. Smoking: none. Drinking: people have occasional sips of wine. A man abuses beer frequently. Mentions of alcohol addiction. Language: Crap, darn it, damn. That's it. Products and Purchases: Over promotion of Dhar Mann merch. Fundraising. YouTubers appearing in Dhar Mann videos. Charities. The iPhone is mentioned in almost every video. Roblox. Minecraft, any video game. Giovanni's. Godiva Strawberries. Frequent advertising of Dhar Mann merch at the beginning of videos. Diverse representations: Mostly. Latina/Hispanic characters. Asian. Black (stereotyping warning) White. LGBTQ+ stereotyped. People of different ability and with mental health disorders included. Educational value: Somewhat educational, but sometimes are entertainment.Positive role models: Good characters always getting rewarding, and bad characters getting karma.Positive messages: Same plot. Same messages. Nothing new. Some messages are ridiculous are not meant for educational value but for entertainment.Easy of play: So easy to access. Anyone under 16 can access.Honestly Dhar used to be great now he's just a piece of crap and all. Now I just watch him for entertainment. Edit #2: Never mind Dhar Mann is messed up! He doesn't pay his actors and he also used the "N" word to his black actors. Never watching again!

Morals and Life Lessons in fun and entertaining - but clìche and predictable videos

Parents should know that Dhar Mann is the new app by the entrepreneur of the same name. It is a hub for all of the short videos released on his youtube channels. The videos are designed for young audiences, serving up morals and life lessons. Examples include 'Kids bully girl for Halloween Costume, they instantly regret it' Note though, that the acting in the videos isn't always the best and sometimes cringeworthy, and the videos are clìche and painfully predictable. However, these components actually work in the favour of the videos, making them funny, entertaining and almost addicting to watch. Young kids will be entertained and there isn't much to watch out for.

So this review is for the guy and his videos in general, not the app

These Life Lessons Mean Nothing.

Dhar Mann is a channel featuring life lessons (Or do they?). Yes it can be mature a BIT, but he isn’t really bad. These life lessons are mostly NOT helpful. Like in one video, it’s about a boy named Mikey who wants to cheat on the test, so he can get a PS5. The ending well, he got a F. It was “If you cheat, you’ll never get ahead”. Well yes, a lot of people already know this quote but if you know someone if they want to do something dumb and bad, show them Dhar Mann But I realized that this is just repative lessons kids already know. Like you learn this in school. It's not going to change lives smh. Literally Mikey cheated 5 more times and didn't learn his lesson. PROOF. There's probably not everything is going to go to the light. I saw a YouTuber said there's probably unsolved murder cases. That is very true.Plus, he's only in this for money. Even if you get taught a life lesson, chances are, you'll do it again. Mikey set a example of disobeying it and doing it again like 5 times more, including skipping school. I don't enjoy Dhar Mann.
